Cedar Valley Services, Inc. provides other specialized and supportive services for client consumers. Some of these include:

MENTAL HEALTH VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS are specialized services, which are offered agency-wide and are designed to assist persons who have serious and persistent mental illness in obtaining and retaining appropriate employment.

SENIOR SERVICES are avocationally oriented activities designed for those persons who want to decrease their work time and explore other options, or who want to retire while maintaining friendships and remaining active.

TRANSPORTATION to program is provided directly or through contracted services. CVS drivers are trained in defensive driving, passenger assistance, vehicle maintenance, CPR and first aid. Vehicles are equipped with radio communication and cell phones to maximize passenger safety. The agency's 40 vehicles traveled a combined total of 526,000 miles during 2001.
